Step 1: Learn about PLA options at Camden County College

Camden County College (CCC) does not place a limit on the number of credits that can be earned through prior learning assessment, but in order to earn a degree from CCC, students must complete at least 30 Camden County College credits and fulfill all of the degree requirements. Certificate students must complete at least half of the certificate credits at the College.

Earning credit via prior learning assessment at Camden County College includes portfolio assessment completed through NJPLAN, CCC’s own policy of credit by exam and portfolio, credit by exam programs (CLEP, DSST, TECEP, etc.) and professional training that has been evaluated and recommended for college credit by recognized organizations.
